R2 - Work Off-Campus and Fieldwork (WOC/FW) Statuses
If you are conducting or supporting work off-campus or fieldwork that would reasonably be considered a medium or greater health and safety risk level, a WOC/FW Plan in UQSafe may be completed.
Who does this affect?
Work Off-campus and Fieldwork Plan Leader - This is the UQ Staff member who is leading the Work Off-campus/fieldwork, and is responsible for creating all Work Off-campus/fieldwork documents including Work Off-campus and Fieldwork Plan, and Risk Assessment.
Work Off-campus and Fieldwork Plan Approver - This is generally the Work Off-campus and Fieldwork Plan Leader's supervisor or a person senior enough to approve the plan. Additionally, this person should not be attending the feild trip.
Communications Person - Nominated campus representative who doesn't participate in the Work Off-campus/fieldwork, and is able to enact the communications plan.
First Aider/s - The UQ personel nominated to perform First Aid where required during Work Off-campus/fieldwork.
Participants - All UQ personel (including Students) that are attending the Work Off-campus/fieldwork.
WOC/FW Plan Statuses
| Status | Description |

| Draft | A Field Trip which has created, but not submitted for Appoval. This record sits in the “My Drafts” Tab of the Author |
| New | A Field Trip which has been submitted and awaiting approval.This record sits in the Active and All Tab. |
| Approved | A Field Trip which has been approved by the Field Trip Approver. This record sits in the Active and All Tab. |
| Suspended | The Suspend action is only available to be used on Field Trips that have a Status of "Approved". You can ‘cancel’ the WOC/FW Plan from this status. This record sits in the Archive Tab. |
| Rejected | A Field Trip which has been rejected by the Field Trip Approver. This can be edited by the Author to apply for re-submission. This record sits in the “My Drafts” Tab of the Author and the All Tab. |
| Left | A Field Trip which has left. This record sits in the All Tab. |
| Closed | A Field Trip which has returned. This record sits in the Archive Tab. |
WOC/FW Register Statuses
| Status | Description |
|---|---|
| Clear | Field trip is either: A draft, hasn't been approved, rejected, closed or cancelled. |
| Green | Field trip has been approved and left |
| Yellow | Field trip has been approved but has not yet left. |
| Red | A field trip that has left but has not returned before the set Return Date/Time. |
