Effective Dating
When dating a new row, keep the following in mind:
- If you want the row to take effect immediately, the date must be today or earlier. In this situation the easiest action is to date the new row January 1 of the current year unless a row of that date already exists.
- It's standard practise to date new rows as the first day of the current year, unless the row is to take effect after a particular census date - in which case, you would date it the day after that census date.
