Service CRM Confidentiality 2.0
As endorsed by the CRM System Management Committee we are releasing changes to increase the security of the Confidentiality feature in Service CRM. This is referred to as Confidentiality 2.0 (C2.0)
Why the change?
Confidentiality 2.0 builds on the existing solution by changing the back end of the process to restrict visibility of confidential enquiries and remove the reliance on user profiles.
Additionally, the move to C2.0 brings some improvements to auditing capability. All attempts to access to confidential enquiries (including failed attempts) is logged to an audit table.
When:
Following the pilot rollout of Confidentiality 2.0 to ITS, we will be doing 2 further releases as below. The business areas involved are below.
Release 2 (14th Dec)
- Academic Services
- Finance
- HR
- HS&W
- Planning and Business Intelligence
- Schools and Faculties
- Student Affairs/Services
- UQ Corporate
- UQ Library
Release 3 (19th Dec)
- All remaining workspaces
How does this impact me?
For most of you it will not change anything about the way you work.
For teams that do handle confidential enquiries there is a change to business process.
