Create a New Project

A project in Impact Tracker is not limited to research projects. Projects can also be funding grants, initiatives, and even used as a career record.

For each project, Impact Tracker provides:

Project overview — summary of the project
Research outputs — import publications from UQ eSpace or ORCiD
Project evidence vault — store impact and engagement evidence
Impact overview — include stakeholders, acitivities, impact indicators and storyboards

How to create a project in Impact Tracker

Steps for creating an Impact Tracker project using UQRDM - New Records

Sign in to your UQRDM account
Select Create a New Record in the left-hand pane
Fill in relevant project information
Tick the box 'I would like to set up an Impact Tracker project'
A project will automatically be created in Impact Tracker using the record's metadata

Note: Any changes made to the UQRDM record after the record is active will not be updated in Impact Tracker.

Steps for creating an Impact Tracker project using UQRDM - Exisiting Records

Sign in to your UQRDM account
Select an exisiting record
Select Request Impact Tracker
A project will automatically be created in Impact Tracker using the record's metadata

Note: Any changes made to the UQRDM record after the record is active will not be updated in Impact Tracker.
