How to check the progress of a candidature request
Instructions on how HDR candidates can check the progress of a candidature request.
What candidature requests can I check online?
- Attainment of Progress Review
- Change of Academic Load
- Change of Advisory Team
- Change of Enrolling School or Institute
- Change of Research Project
- Change of HDR Program
- Enrolment in or Cancellation of Additional Courses
- Notification of Remote Status
- Request to Enrol in Concurrent Program
- Extension of Living Stipend Scholarship
- Relinquish Living Stipend Scholarship
- Extend Thesis Corrections
- Withdrawal from Candidature
Where do I go to check a candidature request?
You can view all candidature requests at my.uq.edu.au.
Log in using your student username and password if required*
*Your student username will start with an “s” and is followed by the first 7 digits of your student number. If you do not log in with your student username you will not be able to view your candidature requests.
Choose the "Active" tab from the table and look for the request
The status of your request can be seen in the second column but by clicking "view" at the end of the row you can open to request to see more details.
When you open the request you will see "Request Summary" with the key details of your request
The "Request History" tab will show you the progress of your request
This includes who it is currently assigned to and any explanatory comments.
"Request Documents" will show you all the documents attached to your request
This includes your original PDF request, where relevant.
You can review the information or your original request via the "Request Detail" tab*
*For PDF requests, you will find a copy of the completed PDF form in the "Request Documents" tab.
